    Easy customization for swift delivery
    TDLByte Summary

    Dear Developers,
We hope our TDLBytes on Tally.ERP 9 Release 5.0 feature, 'Customization using Productivity Suite' has given you enough insight on what goes behind creating and printing a document/template from within Tally.ERP 9 using this feature.

For ease of customizing and to get a hands-on experience on 'Customization using Productivity Suite', you can write a TDL code that will make use of this feature to print the new sales invoice (mentioned in TDLBytes #1 & displayed below) in an Excel format.
All you have to do is, create the sales invoice format in Excel, specify tokens, write the code that will push the data to the tokens, configure the code in Tally.ERP 9 and print the sales voucher.

To assist you in the entire process, you can download the 'Document template' (.xml format that can be opened using Excel tool) and the complete 'TDL code document'. We suggest that you try writing the code and refer the TDL code document when needed.

We would like to know your feedback on our previous TDLBytes and its usefulness to you. Share your feedback by replying to the mail!
Stay tuned for our next Tally.ERP 9 Release 5.0 feature!
